Its been over a year since I began this blog, yet I only had 19 posts. Not a good average! I started this blog when my xdh and I broke up, to help keep track of the cycles our relationship goes though, and also because I started attending a group counseling class for women who had escaped domestic violence. I really wanted to further explore the issues we talked about in group here, and be able to look back and see my own personal growth.
Then, last may, I hurt my back. Months and months of pain killers didnt help me keep up with blogging. A lot changed in my life. I finished the 15 week group, and an additional 9 week individual counseling. I'm currently involved in a parenting group specifically for children who have been exposed to domestic violence.

Now, I'm living pretty well on my own. This week my divorce should be final. I also will gain (finally) visitation rights for my stepdaughter. Im enrolled in school, and doing well. then, last week - guess what... I hurt my back again.

I've deleted all my old posts. my ex asked me if i had a blog the other day, which made me wonder if he had found this one. I did save all my old posts - too much pain went into writing them to just hit delete.

This blog will have a new function now - to chronicle my successes. Of course, thats what it was for to begin with, but I have a whole new outlook on life now. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep it!

and...I'm writing a book!
